Kouyaguchi-cho , Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture, is an attractive area rich in nature, history, and convenience. Located at the foot of Koyasan (Mt. Koya), the area offers beautiful scenery in each of the four seasons, and access to Osaka is only one train ride away. Koyanokuchi Town is particularly popular among immigrants, with its historic wooden elementary school and local culture.

Wakayama as a whole offers a variety of tourist attractions such as Kumano Kodo, Koyasan, and Adventure World, as well as onsen (hot springs), nature experiences, and a great variety of foods.
